Md. Al Amin

Md. Al Amin is a dynamic figure and a role model in the Hospitality & Tourism Industry of Bangladesh. With over 15 years of professional expertise in the industry, he is currently the Hotel Manager of The Westin Dhaka and concurrently the Head of Sales & Marketing of the leading 5 star hotels in Bangladesh – The Westin Dhaka & Sheraton Dhaka. He is the youngest hotelier in Bangladesh to be awarded such a diverse responsibility by Marriott International due to his charismatic personality and exceptional track record. He is a stalwart in the hospitality industry of Bangladesh and has worked for multiple International and local hotel brands such as Pan Pacific Group, Starwood Hotel & Resorts, etc.

Throughout his career, he has won multiple accolades for his impactful contribution in the industry. Recently, Federation of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management (FoHTEM) recognized him as the “Youth Icon of the Hospitality Industry” and Leaders Forum Bangladesh also recognized his visionary leadership and awarded him “Leadership Excellence Award 2021”.

He is a passionate hotelier who loves enjoying life to the fullest and excels at sharing knowledge with the future leaders. He also holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Independent University Bangladesh and EMBA from American International University. He has also completed Management Development Program from IBA, Dhaka University. Apart from being a workaholic, he is very passionate about playing sports and enjoys exploring different global destinations with his family.
